Why Finance?
GBSB Barcelona’s bachelor’s program merges corporate administration with digital innovation, unifying worldwide fiscal systems, cross-border economic studies, and investment markets with cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The curriculum develops proficiency in financial oversight while focusing on hands-on use of digital tools. Students choose between full-time (2+1 years) or part-time (4+2 years) formats, with classes conducted entirely in English from October, January, or April intake dates.
Global Business School Curriculum
The three-year program assigns 60 ECTS credits annually, commencing with core commercial concepts and digital innovation that establish a foundation for specialized research. Throughout the second year, learners explore the banking sector and fintech while maintaining core business coursework, with elective options allowing personalized academic pathways. The final year concentrates on sophisticated financial and technological subjects alongside a 15-ECTS dissertation.
Specialization
The specialization encompasses 45 ECTS units via selective courses covering Investment Portfolio Strategy and Financial Planning, Capital Allocation, and Advanced Accounting, alongside courses like Fundamentals of FinTech and Online Banking: Obstacles and Prospects. This breadth ensures graduates master both traditional financial systems and new-age innovations, receiving a Qualification in Corporate Administration and Digital Innovation specializing in Financial Services and FinTech recognized at MQF/EQF Level 6, offering Adaptable Learning Pathways
The institution organizes its curriculum with step-by-step completion alternatives to suit various personal situations. Following the first year, students can obtain either a Bachelor’s Certificate (32 ECTS) or Credential (60 ECTS) in Business Management and Technological Innovation, while the second year culminates in a Higher Bachelor’s Diploma (120 ECTS).
